i almost flooded the lab today. We did a reflux reaction with benzyl benozate. I was supposed to connect one of the tubes to the tap and another tube drain to the waste. But being the blur queen, i connected both to the taps, causing a back pressure. This resulted in a mini rainfall for my bench...haiz...looks like i'm really not gd at lab work...

Yesterday's practical was quite fun. We used the different emulfiying machines to make emulsions ( hopefully the emulsions will turn out better than the suppositories ). For a moment, i thought that i have stepped into a kitchen. There's the blender, mixer and measuring cup. I also saw this huge measuring cylinder, probably the largest measuring cylinder that i've seen so far in labs. =）

昨天，家里发生了怪事。早上，冲忙之中，我把手机落在家里了。可回到家时，爸跟我说他收到了我发的一个简讯。 我纳闷了。我手机都忘了带，那里发得了简讯?! 我立刻拿手机出来检查一边， 发现在1149时分，我的手机确实发了个“on my way" 的简讯。我问了妈和小妹，可他们俩都没动我的手机。见鬼了！那我的简讯是谁发的?!

昨天和伟律他们庆祝了我的生日。不意外的， 我们又去了kbox。值得一提的是，an ee 的进步好快哦！从以前只能静静的坐在一旁听我们唱，到今天的主动点歌唱歌，而且还唱得有模有样呢！他的秘诀呢？每天看3小时的you tube =）
我收到的礼物挺特别的，是个鸭子的tissue cover。

可爱吧？可惜我桌上已经太乱太乱了，连书本和笔记本电脑都没什么地方放，所以只好收起来了。

后来，我们就到angus的家打麻将。 由于我们都是生手，所以就随便玩玩。 我的运气还不错，赢了几盘...

I had my first tutorial for Bahasa Indonesia this morning. Found the class quite fun and interesting. But Ibu Luciawati speaks really fast and i had some difficulty catching what she's trying to say. I'm amazed that some of the guys in my class can actually respond to her questions when i'm still busily flipping my buku to look for answers. But tt's like the minority =)

Today's dosage form design prac is absolutely horrible. The suppositories that we made last week looked quite nice on the exterior but none of them can pass the tests. Our theobroma oil suppositories simply just refused to disintegrate within 30min. Polyethylene glycol suppositories cracked and gave a wide range when tested for mechanical strength. And the glycerinated gelatin suppositories failed the test for uniformity of weight. Haiz...
conclusion: Me, Siew Han and Janet cannot go into manufacturing...

yep的最后一个meeting。一切已告了一个尾声。
有些些的惆怅和感慨。坦白说，我们的付出对印度的那个小村落并没多大影响。想想看，我们教了一个星期的英文，可这能改变他们的教育制度，真正的提升他们的程度吗？说不定，等我们回新后，一切又会打回原型，所有的努力都是白费。其实，这一点，我早已看透，所以并没抱着多大的希望能改变什么。但，我并不后悔。我很开心我能出一份力，能为他们做些什么...尽管微不足道。这一趟印度之旅，对于自己，收获还蛮大的。我更清楚的看清了我自己，也重新认识了身边的朋友...
倘若还有机会，我想，我一定还会义不容辞的参与的...
